《GB/T 1668-2008增塑剂酸值及酸度的测定》由TC35（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC35SC12（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会化学助剂分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准首次发布于１９８１年。１９９５年第一次修订，本次为第二次修订。ＧＢ／Ｔ６４８９．２首次发布于
１９８６年，２００１年第一次修订。本标准自实施之日起同时代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１６６８―１９９５《增塑剂酸值及酸度的测定》、ＧＢ／Ｔ６４８９．２―２００１《工业用邻苯二甲酸酯类的检验方法　酸度的测定》。本标准规定了增塑剂酸值及酸度的测定方法。本标准适用于一般增塑剂酸值及酸度的测定。
