《GB/T 17005-2019滨海设施外加电流阴极保护系统通用要求》由TC12(全国海洋船标准化技术委员会)归口,TC12SC4(全国海洋船标准化技术委员会船用材料应用工艺分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 17005—2019 is a general requirement for impressed current cathodic protection systems for coastal facilities, and is applicable to corrosion protection for facilities such as seawater pipelines, seawater pumps, and drum-shaped rotary screens. The standard replaces the previous GB/T 17005—1997, and adds technical requirements for drum-shaped rotary screens for nuclear power plants.
2. Background of Standard Formulation and Technological Evolution
With the increasing application of coastal facilities in the marine environment, corrosion problems have gradually become an important factor affecting the life and safety of facilities. As an effective anti-corrosion method, impressed current cathodic protection technology has been widely used at home and abroad. The formulation and update of the GB/T 17005 series of standards reflect my country's technological progress and standardization needs in the field of corrosion protection.
3. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Chapter | 1997 version content | 2019 version additions/modifications |
|---|---|---|
| 3.1 Protection potential criteria | Applicable only to carbon steel | Added protection scope for stainless steel, copper and copper alloys |
| 4.2 Power supply equipment | Special power supply mode is not specified | Added requirements for power supply modes such as solar energy and wind energy |
| 5.3 Protection area calculation | No special formula for condenser | Added Condenser internal surface area formula |
4. Recommendations for implementation of the standard
4.1 Considerations in the design phase
- Ensure insulation between the system and adjacent metal structures
- Select appropriate protection current density based on material properties (see Table 3)
- Reasonably arrange auxiliary anodes to ensure uniform current distribution
4.2 Recommendations for installation and maintenance
- Regularly check the potential difference of the shaft grounding device (<=0.06V)
- During maintenance, focus on checking the surface condition of the anode and reference electrode
- It is recommended to conduct sampling inspection of the protection effect every quarter
