《GB/T 17518-1998化工产品中硅含量测定的通用方法 还原硅钼酸盐分光光度法》由TC63（全国化学标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定以还原硅钼酸盐分光光度法为测定化工产品中硅的通用方法。本标准提供了测定溶液中硅含量的方法。所分析产品试液的制备，应参考有关的标准。为使方法适用于分析的产品，应做些必要的修改。本方法适用于测定试液中的SiO2含量为2~200μg。

Scope

This standard stipulates that the reduction silicomomolybdate spectrophotometry is a general method for the determination of silicon in chemical products. This standard provides a method for the determination of silicon content in solutions. The preparation of the test solution for the product to be analyzed should refer to the relevant standards. Modifications should be made as necessary to adapt the method to the product being analyzed. This method is suitable for determining the content of SiO₂ in the test solution is 2-200μg. Appendix A gives the limits for various ions, elements and compounds that do not interfere with the determination when they exist alone. In specific cases, this table also gives the treatment methods to reduce or suppress the interference.
