Key instrument configuration requirements

Boat injection system must meet the following requirements:

  • Sample boat material: platinum or quartz, lined with quartz wool
  • Injection speed controllable range: 150±10mm/min
  • Sealing requirements: able to withstand high temperature of 1100℃

Combustion tube configuration differences:

  1. Single-stage furnace temperature 1100℃±25℃
  2. Dual-stage needs to have carrier gas/oxygen switching function

Establishing a standard curve

Note when using a 5μL syringe for injection:

  • The volume method requires three rinses to eliminate bubbles
  • The weighing accuracy of the mass method must reach 0.01mg

Quality Control Implementation Plan

QC sample selection should meet the following requirements:

  • Nitrogen content covers the range of 40-10000mg/kg
  • National primary standard materials should be used preferentially
  • The analysis interval for each batch shall not exceed 20 samples

Precision control requirements:

Repeatability: r ≤ 0.087X (X is the mean)

Reproducibility: R ≤ 0.266X (X is the mean)
