本标准适用于音频、视频、电视和视听工程领域的电子设备及系统，特别是对使用人员无需进行技术培训的设备。本标准仅适用于使用不超过单相250V交流电压或不超过50V的直流电压、通过插头和插座连接电源的设备。

Scope

This standard applies to electronic equipment and systems in the fields of audio, video, television and audiovisual engineering, especially equipment that does not require technical training for users. This standard applies only to equipment that uses a single-phase AC voltage of not more than 250V or a DC voltage of not more than 50V and is connected to the power supply through plugs and sockets. Some devices may be suitable for use with multiple mains voltages and frequencies. Some of these equipment users must make some adjustments to suit a specific power supply, while others can operate over a wide range of power supplies without adjustment or have automatic adjustment capabilities for two or more power supplies. The purpose of this standard is to specify the marking method of these equipment and to indicate the manual or automatic adjustment method. The marking specified in this standard does not conflict with the marking requirements specified in the corresponding IEC safety standard, but serves as its supplement. The purpose is to help users achieve satisfactory and reliable equipment operation.
