《GB/T 18497.1-2019工业加热用电红外发射器的特性 第1部分:短波电红外发射器》由TC121(全国工业电热设备标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
Introduction
Interpretation of GB/T 18497.1—2019, the National Standard of the People's Republic of China
I. Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T 18497 "Characteristics of electric infrared emitters for industrial heating" is divided into two parts. This part (Part 1) mainly regulates the technical requirements of short-wave electric infrared emitters. Compared with the old version of the standard GB/T 18497.1—2001, the new version of the standard has made important updates in terms of term definitions, technical parameters and test methods:
- Added a number of new terms, such as "electric infrared emitter" and "plate emitter".
- Added a performance evaluation index system, including key parameters such as electric-thermal radiation conversion efficiency and effective radiation energy ratio.
- Improved the test method and directly quoted GB/T 7287—2008 as the basis for testing.
- Inspection rules and packaging and transportation requirements have been added to ensure more comprehensive product quality control.
II. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Chapter number | 2001 version content | 2019 version new/modified content |
|---|---|---|
| 3 Terms and definitions | Includes basic terms such as "radiator" and "rated voltage". | 14 new terms have been added, the original term definitions have been modified and improved, and some outdated terms have been deleted. |
| 5 Technical requirements | Specific performance indicators have not been specified. | A complete performance evaluation system for short-wave electric infrared emitters has been established, including technical requirements for key parameters such as power deviation, operating temperature, and electric power density on the radiation surface. |
| 6 Test methods | The test methods are relatively general. | Directly adopt GB/T 7287-2008, and refine various detection indicators and test methods. |
III. Interpretation of core technical requirements
This standard puts forward comprehensive technical requirements for short-wave electric infrared emitters, mainly including the following aspects:
1. Basic parameters
- Rated power: the design power marked on the emitter.
- Operating temperature: the average temperature of the radiation surface in a stable working state under rated voltage. For transparent material substrates, it is defined as the distribution temperature.
- Electro-thermal radiation conversion efficiency: The percentage of input electrical power converted into infrared radiation energy, which must not be less than 50%.
2. Installation and use conditions
- Operating environment: Relative humidity is not more than 90%, there is no flammable, explosive gas and conductive dust, and the allowable voltage fluctuation range is ±10%.
- Life requirements: The continuous working life under normal use conditions is not less than 5000 hours.
3. Safety and performance indicators
- Insulation resistance: Both cold and hot states are not less than 50 MΩ (except for products with exposed heating elements).
- Leakage current: Not more than 0.75 mA at operating temperature.
- Radiation characteristics: The radiation energy in the effective infrared band (1~25 μm) accounts for no less than 60% of the total radiation energy.
IV. Implementation suggestions
To ensure the effective implementation of the standard, it is recommended to start from the following aspects:
- Production link: Design and manufacture in strict accordance with the requirements of the standard, with a focus on the selection of heating element materials, packaging process and power regulation system.
- Testing link: Establish a complete testing system and equip with advanced testing equipment to ensure that all technical indicators meet the requirements.
- Use and maintenance: Users should operate and maintain according to the product manual, and regularly check key parameters such as operating temperature, leakage current, etc.
- Standard promotion: Organize relevant personnel training to improve their understanding and application capabilities of the new version of the standard.
