1. Material properties

  • Density range: 1450-1650kg/m³ (GB/T1033.1 test)
  • Vicat softening temperature: ≥103℃ (50N load)
  • Light transmittance: ≤0.2% (to prevent algae growth)

2. Hydrostatic strength requirements

Take S5 series pipe fittings as an example, the following tests must be passed:

  • 20℃/1h test: 5.47MPa no leakage
  • 95℃/1000h test: 1.20MPa no crack

Implementation and application suggestions

1. Selection considerations

  1. Beige standard color pipe fittings are preferred (non-standard colors require special agreement)
  2. Check the matching degree between the socket depth of the pipe fittings and the pipe (formula: L≥0.5dn+6mm)

2. Installation quality control

Note for solvent-bonded pipe fittings:

  • After assembly, stand at room temperature for ≥20 days or accelerate curing at 80℃ for 4 days
  • The socket out-of-roundness deviation is controlled within 0.2-1.0mm (depending on the specification)
