GB/T 19345 consists of several parts under the general title Amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys as planned:

——Part 1: Fe-based amorphous soft magnetic alloy strips;

This is Part 2 of GB/T 19345.

This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces the part of Fe-based nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy in GB/T 19345-2003 Amorphous and nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy strips.

The following main changes have been made with respect to GB/T 19345-2003:

——the standard name is changed to Amorphous and nanocrystalline alloy - Part 2: Fe-based nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy strips;

——the clause “Terms and definitions” is added (see Clause 3);

——the rules for the classification and designation of strips are added (see Clause 4);

——the magnetic property indicators of strips are modified (see 6.1; 4.3 of Edition 2003);

——the specifications of strips are detailed and the allowable dimensional deviations are specified respectively (see 6.2; Clause 3 of Edition 2003);

——the relevant requirements for sampling, specimen preparation and testing are modified (see 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4; 6.2, 6.3 and Clause 5 of Edition 2003);

——the requirements and inspection methods for lamination factor of strips are added (see 6.3.2 and 7.3.3.1);

——the requirements and inspection methods for toughness of strips are modified (see 6.3.3 and 7.3.3.2; 4.4 and 6.3.3 of Edition 2003);

——the requirements for packaging, storage, marking and quality certificate are detailed (see Clause 8; Clause 7 of Edition 2003).

Amorphous and nanocrystalline alloy - Part 2: Fe-based nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy strips

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 19345 specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designation system, general requirements, technical requirements, inspection and testing, packaging, storage, marking and quality certificate of rapidly quenched Fe-based nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy strips.

This part is applicable to Fe-based nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy strips (hereinafter referred to as strips) used for manufacturing iron cores of medium-high frequency transformers, common mode inductors, magnetic amplifiers, spike-killers, current transformers, filter inductors and sensors, and those used for manufacturing sheets for magnetic shielding and magnetic conduction.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.1, GB/T 9637, GB/T 15019, GB/T 19345.1-2017 and GB/T 19346.1 as well as the following apply. For the convenience of application, some terms and definitions specified in GB/T 19345.1-2017 are listed below.

4 Classification and designation system

The designation of strips consists of five fields and a hyphen, with each field defined as follows:


Example:

FN26H60-84 refers to high-permeability-type strips with a nominal thickness of 0.026mm, a static relative initial permeability of greater than 60,000 and a lamination factor of not less than 0.84.

5 General requirements

5.1 Production process

The production process and chemical composition of strips are determined by the supplier.

5.2 Supply form

5.2.1 Strips are generally delivered in the form of coils. Size and weight of coils may be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, and then indicated in the contract.

5.2.2 Coils shall be made with strips of the same width, with hard paper, plastic or metal reels lined at the center.

5.2.3 The end face of the coil shall be flat, and the maximum axial height shall not be greater than 1.05 times the nominal width of the strips.

5.2.4 The end face of the coil shall be free of rust, handprint, foreign matter and damage.

5.2.5 The coil shall be tightly wound, free from local slack, wrinkles and collapse, and shall not collapse due to its deadweight during handling, and shall not deviate laterally during unwinding.

5.2.6 Strip splicing may occur due to defect removal. The strips in front of or behind the splicing joint shall be of the same designation and nominal width. The splicing joint shall be marked, and the splicing shall be neat and not affect the normal operation of subsequent processing. If other materials are used at the splicing joint, such materials shall not affect the strip properties before and after heat treatment. If the strip is exposed to liquid in the final use, the splicing material shall not chemically react with the liquid.

5.2.7 The special requirements for the delivery form of strips may be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.

5.3 Delivery conditions

Generally, strips are delivered as semi-processed (as-prepared) without surface coating and shearing. In the case of any special requirement, it may be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
