Scope
This part of GB/T 19352 specifies the quality requirements as follows: - It does not depend on the type of thermal sprayed structure. - It not only defines the quality requirements of thermal spraying in the workshop, but also defines the quality requirements of thermal spraying in the field. — it provides guidance describing the manufacturer's ability to produce thermally sprayed components that conform to specified requirements. - It can also be used as a basis for evaluating a manufacturer's thermal spray capabilities. This standard applies when the manufacturer's ability to produce thermally sprayed components according to the promised quality requirements is detailed in one or more of the following documents: - a contract signed by the parties concerned; - a standard adopted; - regulatory requirements. All the requirements in this section can be adopted. If the relevant components are not applicable, the manufacturer can selectively delete some of them. These requirements provide a flexible framework for thermal spray control in the following cases: - Situation 1 When the contract requires the manufacturer to have a quality system in compliance with GB/T 19001-1994 or GB/T 19002-1994, Clearly provide thermal spray requirements in the contract. - Situation 2 When the contract requires the manufacturer to have a quality system different from GB/T 19001--1994 or GB/T 19002--1994, clearly provide the thermal spraying requirements in the contract. - Situation 3 When the contract requires the manufacturer to establish a quality system, clearly provide the thermal spraying requirements in the contract. - Situation 4 When the adopted standard regards thermal spraying as part of its requirements, clearly provide the thermal spraying requirements in the adopted standard: or clearly specify the thermal spraying requirements in the contract signed by the relevant parties. In such cases Part 3 or Part 4 of this standard may be more applicable.
