Scope

This standard specifies general requirements for penetrant testing devices and their functional components. The penetrant flaw detection device and its functional components are suitable for revealing surface discontinuities that cannot or are difficult to detect with the naked eye in different manufacturing processes and on metals and non-metals of different shapes.
