According to the standard, the scope of protection of the geographical indication product of Fangzheng Rice is limited to the current administrative area of Fangzheng County, Heilongjiang Province.

Natural ecological environment, the average annual sunshine time is 2,387 hours to 2,482 hours; the average annual temperature is 2.5℃ to 3℃, and the average temperature during the rice growing season is 17.5℃ to 20℃; the temperature difference between day and night is 12℃, and the maximum temperature difference is 15℃.
