《GB/T 20642-2006高压线路绝缘子空气中冲击击穿试验》由TC80（全国绝缘子标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准规定了电压高于1000V线路用瓷和玻璃绝缘子在空气中冲击击穿耐受试验的要求，包括盘形悬式绝缘子、针式绝缘子和可击穿型柱式绝缘子。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the impact breakdown resistance test in air of porcelain and glass insulators for lines with a voltage higher than 1000V, including disc-shaped suspension insulators, pin-type insulators and puncture-type post insulators. Other types of B-type high-voltage line insulators can also be used as a reference.
