《GB/T 2291-2016煤沥青实验室试样的制备方法》由TC469(全国煤化工标准化技术委员会)归口,TC469SC3(全国煤化工标准化技术委员会炼焦化学分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
1. Background and significance of the standard
GB/T 2291-2016 "Preparation Method for Laboratory Samples of Coal Tar Pitch" is an important standard in my country's coal chemical industry, which is used to regulate the laboratory sample preparation process of coal tar pitch and its derivatives (such as modified asphalt, impregnating agent asphalt, etc.). The standard was officially implemented on July 1, 2017, replacing the original GB/T 2291-1980 version.
The main revisions to the new standard include:
- The scope of application has been modified
- Normative reference documents have been added (GB/T 2000 "Sampling Method for Coking Solid Products")
- The requirements for instruments and equipment have been updated, for example, "aluminum pan" has been changed to "sample pan", and "standard sieve" has been added, etc.
- The operation steps have been optimized to improve the preparation efficiency and accuracy
2. Comparative analysis of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | GB/T 2291-1980 | GB/T 2291-2016 | Difference analysis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope of application | Applicable only to coal tar pitch | Expanded to coal tar pitch, modified asphalt, etc. | Wider scope of application, covering more product types |
| Instrument requirements | Aluminum pan, mortar | Sample pan, mortar, standard sieve | New equipment, more standardized operation |
| Operation steps | Simplified process | Detailed step-by-step instructions | Steps are refined for easy execution |
3. Practical application and operating specifications
Case analysis: Practical operation of coal tar pitch sample preparation
Step 1:According to GB/T 2000 standard sampling, from 1kg coal tar pitch sample with particle size ≤3mm, take out about 100g, spread it in the sample plate, and control the thickness to be 3mm~5mm.
Step 2:Place the sample in a forced air drying oven at a temperature of (50±2)℃ and dry it for at least 1 hour.
Step 3:Take out the dried sample, reduce it to about 25g, and use a mortar to grind it to a particle size of less than 0.5mm for the determination of toluene insoluble matter, quinoline insoluble matter and coking value.
Step 4:The remaining sample is used as a sample for the determination of ash content and softening point.
4. Implementation Suggestions
To ensure the effective implementation of the standard, it is recommended that:
- Equip with instruments and equipment that meet the requirements of the new standard (such as sample tray, standard sieve, etc.)
- Organize professional training for technical personnel
- Establish a quality control system for sample preparation
- Regularly calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy
