Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of formaldehyde and hexamethylenetetramine (calculated as formaldehyde) in food simulants. This standard applies to the determination of formaldehyde and hexamethylenetetramine (calculated as formaldehyde) in water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and olive oil.
