《GB/T 23957-2021牙膏工业用轻质碳酸钙》由TC63(全国化学标准化技术委员会)归口,TC63SC1(全国化学标准化技术委员会无机化工分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
Introduction
Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution
GB/T23957-2021, as the basic raw material standard for the toothpaste industry, was first released in 2009. This revision reflects three major technological evolutions:
- Optimization of detection methods: Elimination of traditional detection methods such as arsenic spot method and dithizone colorimetry
- Improvement of indicator system: Added a new water absorption indicator (the test value of 15g sample is subject to negotiation between supply and demand)
- Improved safety requirements: Tightened heavy metal limits, lead content requirement ≤0.0003%
Comparative analysis of key indicators
| Indicator items | Requirements of the 2009 version | Requirements of the 2021 version | Explanation of changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| pH value (20℃ suspension) | 8.0-10.0 | 9.0-10.0 | Lower limit increased by 1 unit |
| Iron (Fe) content | ≤0.03% | ≤0.02% | Required to increase by 50% |
| Water absorption (mL/15g) | - | New indicators | Reflect the dispersion of raw materials |
Microbial control requirements
The standard uses Flamme Bengalis culture medium to detect mold and yeast. Specific requirements:
- Total bacteria count ≤300/g
- Total mold and yeast count ≤100/g
- Pathogenic bacteria (E. coli/Staphylococcus aureus) must not be detected
Key points of detection: Samples must be cultured at 28±2℃ for 72 hours, and the colony count range of 5-50/plate is valid data.
Implementation Suggestions
- Raw material acceptance should focus on the pH value and water absorption indicators. It is recommended to establish a supplier classification management system.
- The environmental humidity should be controlled at ≤60% during the production process to prevent calcium carbonate from absorbing moisture and agglomerating.
- After the implementation of the new standard, enterprise laboratories should update arsenic and lead detection equipment. It is recommended to configure an atomic absorption spectrometer.
