Introduction
GB/T 24475—2023 Standard Overview
GB/T 24475—2023 "Elevator Remote Alarm System" replaces the old version GB/T24475—2009, and has made a number of revisions to the terminology, technical requirements and verification methods. This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization and is applicable to the alarm systems of passenger elevators and freight elevators.
Background of Standard Update
With the rapid development and technological progress of the elevator industry, the old version of the standard can no longer meet the current technical requirements. The new version of the standard focuses on adding requirements for emergency power supply, two-way communication and automatic testing, and refines safety specifications to cope with alarm needs in complex environments.
Core Terminology Definitions
- Alarm: The state between the trapped person pressing the trigger device and the completion of the rescue.
- Acknowledgement: The response and confirmation of the rescue service organization to the alarm.
- Alarm equipment (alarm equipment): The elevator component that detects and sends valid alarm information.
Technical Specification Comparison Table
| Clause Number | Technical Requirements | New Standard Changes |
|---|---|---|
| 4.1.3 Alarm Termination | The alarm termination needs to be triggered by the elevator and the key is used to approach the device. | Added the response requirements for the rescue service organization's signal. |
| 4.1.5 Car audiovisual signals | Equipped with yellow graphic signals and auditory signals with adjustable volume until voice communication is established. | Updated the signal flashing mechanism and environmental adaptability requirements. |
Implementation suggestions
1. Installation and configuration:Ensure the effective integration of the alarm system and the elevator control system, and perform automatic testing and functional verification regularly.
2. Emergency power management:Equipped with backup power supply and set status indication to ensure normal operation in the event of power outage.
3. Rescue service training:Provide professional training for rescue personnel to master the operation of the alarm system and emergency handling procedures.
