Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of bridge erecting machines. This standard applies to road bridge erecting machines and railway bridge erecting machines with a rated lifting capacity not greater than 2000t. This standard does not include flatcars for bridge erecting machines operating on railway lines.
