Scope
This standard specifies a laboratory test method for immersing a sample in a hazardous medium to measure the effect of the hazardous medium on the strength and shape of the brake lining and to compare the results with a non-impregnated sample. This standard applies to drum brake linings and disc brake linings for road vehicles containing organic components.
