GB/T 28511.2-2023, as the replacement standard for the 2012 version, has achieved a number of breakthroughs in the field of AWG filter technology:

- Total crosstalk: ≥22dB (optimized test method)
Test method innovation
The new version of the standard focuses on optimizing the following test processes:
- Dispersion test: Modulation phase shift method (Figure 9) with an accuracy of ±20ps/nm
- Temperature stability: Set temperature fine-tuning accuracy of 0.1℃ (Formula 3)
- Multi-parameter synchronous detection: The system in Figure 8 realizes joint testing of 9 parameters such as center wavelength/insertion loss/crosstalk
