Scope

This standard specifies the terms, symbols, structure, requirements, test equipment, test methods, inspection specifications, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of intelligent gas flowmeters (hereinafter referred to as flowmeters). This standard applies to flowmeters that measure gas flow in closed pipelines and have electronic correction devices. This standard does not apply to flowmeter prepayment control devices.
