Scope

This part of GB/T 29023 specifies the concept and process of measuring the particle size distribution of one or more materials dispersed in a liquid by ultrasonic method. The scope includes colloids, dispersions, slurries and emulsions. The typical particle size The analysis range is from 10 nm to 3 mm, but particles beyond this range can also be measured. The measurable range of the volume concentration of the dispersed phase is from 0.1% to 50% or even higher, depending on the density comparison between the continuum and the dispersoid. Partially suitable for monitoring dynamic changes in particle size distribution, including coagulation and flocculation in high concentration systems,
