Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts) for aluminum and aluminum alloy drawn round wire rods. This standard applies to aluminum and aluminum alloy wires for conductors, welding, rivets, cable braiding and evaporation materials (hereinafter referred to as wires).
