Introduction

1. Standard Overview

GB/T 32435—2015 "Test Method for Volatile Organic Compounds in Footwear" is China's first national standard for the release of volatile organic compounds (VOG) in footwear products, and is intended to evaluate the harmful substances that may be released during the use of shoes.

2. Method Principle and Test Process

This standard uses for sampling, and combines thermal desorbers and gas chromatography-mass spectrometers (GC-MS) to complete qualitative and quantitative analysis. The entire process includes four stages: test chamber preparation, sample placement, gas sampling, and sample analysis.
