Introduction
1. Background and significance of standard formulation
Pesticide density is an important indicator for evaluating the quality and stability of pesticide products. GB/T32776-2016 "Method for Determination of Pesticide Density" is my country's first national standard for pesticide density determination, filling the gap in the industry. The standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and is managed by the National Pesticide Standardization Technical Committee.
2. Standard framework and scope of application
This standard is mainly applicable to the density determination of homogeneous liquid pesticides and suspension pesticides, and specifies four methods:
- Density meter method (3.1): Applicable to homogeneous liquid pesticides.
- Density bottle method (3.2): Applicable to homogeneous liquid pesticides.
- Dilution densimeter method (3.3): Applicable to suspension pesticides.
- Defoaming density bottle method (3.4): Applicable to suspension pesticides.

4. Practical application case analysis
Application of the density bottle method in the laboratory: A pesticide company used capillary stopper density bottle was used to measure the density of a liquid pesticide. The results showed that the measurement error of this method was less than 0.2%, and it had high accuracy and repeatability.
