Introduction
Overview of the standard for determination of pesticide solubility and solution stability
GB/T 32777-2016 "Determination of pesticide solubility and solution stability" is a national standard of the People's Republic of China, which is used to guide the determination of solubility and solution stability of soluble solid preparations of pesticides. The standard was officially implemented on January 1, 2017.
Background of standard formulation
With the expansion of the application scope of pesticides and the improvement of environmental protection requirements, the quality and performance of pesticide products have received widespread attention. The formulation of GB/T 32777-2016 aims to unify the determination methods of pesticide solubility and solution stability, and provide a scientific basis for pesticide research and development, production and quality control.
Comparison of standard frameworks
| Dimensions | GB/T 32777-2016 | GB / T5451—2001 | International Standards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope of application | Water-soluble solid preparations such as pesticide soluble powders and granules | Determination of wettability of pesticide wettable powders | No corresponding international standard |
| Main indicators | Degree of solubility (%), solution stability (%) | Wetting time, dispersibility | - |
| Determination method | Preparation of standard hard water, filtration method | Titration method, visual inspection method | - |
Explanation of professional terms and practical application cases
Standard hard water: refers to water containing a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions prepared according to the GB/T5451-2001 method, with a concentration of ρ(Ca²⁺+Mg²⁺)=342 mg/L.
Determination of solubility: Dissolve the sample in 30℃ standard hard water, invert and mix, filter, and weigh the percentage of the mass of the residue on the sieve to the mass of the sample.
Determination of solution stability: Repeat the above process after standing for 18 hours to measure the changes in insoluble matter in the solution.
Technology Evolution Analysis
GB/T 32777-2016 optimizes the solubility test method based on the absorption of domestic and foreign research results and the actual needs of my country's pesticide industry. The accuracy of the measurement results is improved by introducing standard hard water and precise temperature control technology.
Implementation Suggestions
- Instrument Calibration: Regularly calibrate key instruments such as standard sieves and measuring cylinders to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Staff Training: Provide professional training for operators, focusing on sample preparation and data processing methods.
- Environmental Control: The laboratory should maintain constant temperature conditions (30℃±2℃) to ensure a stable experimental environment.
- Data Analysis: Establish a data management platform, analyze historical test data, and optimize production processes.
