Introduction
GB/T33319-2016 Standard Overview
GB/T33319-2016 "Plastic Polyethylene (PE) Breathable Film Special Material" standard is a special specification for polyethylene breathable film materials, aiming to ensure its uniformity in production, application and quality control. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Petrochemical Plastic Resin Products Branch of the National Plastic Standardization Technical Committee and was officially implemented on July 1, 2017.
Classification and Naming Rules
The naming of polyethylene breathable film special materials consists of two parts: Character Group 1 and Character Group 2, which represent the resin code and product characteristics respectively. Among them:
- Character Group 1: unified as "PE".
- Character group 2: Contains product code, characteristic performance and application code. Position 1 is the letter "B", indicating special material for breathable membrane; positions 2-3 are the codes for ash content and melt mass flow rate; position 4 is the application code, and "S" is added if it is used for sanitary products.
Technical requirements and test methods
| Item | Unit | Technical indicators |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance of particles | —— | Uniform color, smooth surface, free of impurities. |
| Density ρ | g/cm³ | 1.12~1.45 |
| Melt mass flow rate (MFR) | g/10min | Nominal value ±0.5 |
Implementation suggestions and practical applications
In actual production, enterprises should:
- Strictly name and classify materials according to the standards.
- Establish a complete quality inspection system to ensure that all indicators meet the requirements.
- Periodically conduct type inspections, especially when materials or processes are changed.
- Optimize packaging and storage conditions to prevent products from being damp or contaminated.
