Introduction

Interpretation of GB/T 33912—2017 National Standard of the People's Republic of China

This standard specifies the requirements for wrought aluminum and aluminum alloy ingots produced with high-purity metals as raw materials, including technical indicators such as chemical composition, purity, dimensional deviation, macrostructure, and detailed test methods and inspection rules.

1. Comparison of standard frameworks

Standard dimensions GB/T 33912—2017 Related reference standards
Chemical composition requirements Tables 2 and 3 specify the impurity content limits for different grades. GB/T 3190, YS/T 870, etc.
Purity requirements Hydrogen content shall comply with the Level II index in GB/T33911, and the slag content shall be agreed upon by the supply and demand parties. GB/T 20975, YS/T 600, etc.
Dimensional deviation Round ingots shall comply with YS/T 67, and flat ingots shall comply with YS/T 590. -

2. Implementation suggestions

Chemical composition control:The analyzed elements shall include all the items specified in the table, and the unconventional elements outside the conventional analysis shall be additionally tested.

Hydrogen content detection: It is recommended to use the online liquid hydrogen measurement method first, and the solid hydrogen measurement method is used during arbitration to ensure data accuracy.

Dimension deviation management: Production and inspection should be carried out strictly in accordance with the tolerance range specified in the standard to avoid the risk of return due to excessive dimensions.
