Key technical requirements

The standard specifies three core functions of wavelength selective switch:

  1. Dynamic bandwidth allocation: supports adjustable bandwidth of 12.5GHz~4.5THz, with a resolution of ≤12.5GHz
  2. Precise attenuation control: 0-15dB attenuation range, with an accuracy of ±(set value×10%)
  3. Multi-port switching: switching response time ≤1000ms, crosstalk ≥30dB
