Scope
This standard specifies the order content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of steel wire rods for welding. This standard applies to welding steel wire rods for electrode arc welding, submerged arc welding, electroslag welding, gas welding and gas shielded welding (hereinafter referred to as "wire rod").
