Introduction

1. Background and significance of the standard

GB/T 34592-2017 "Automobile Steering Wheel Steering Force-Steering Angle Tester" was proposed and coordinated by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Motor Vehicle Operation Safety Technical Testing Equipment, aiming to standardize the measurement requirements of automobile steering wheel steering force and steering angle. This standard applies to the design, production and inspection of steering force-steering angle testers.

Technical performance requirements: Table 1 lists in detail the technical performance requirements of the steering force-steering angle detector, including measurement range, graduation value, discrimination and zero drift.

Steering angle: Both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation are not less than 50°
