Scope
This standard applies to the requirements for electroless nickel over electroless copper to provide protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) or electrostatic discharge (ESD) on plastic or metal parts. This standard does not apply to high-strength steels that are susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement.
