Introduction

Foreword

This standard was drafted based on GB/T1.1-2009, proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Product Recycling and Management, and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products. The main drafting units include Shandong Product Quality Inspection Institute, Qilu University of Technology, etc., which stipulates the characterization characteristics and detection methods of PET plastic recycled materials.

Professional interpretation of PET recycled material testing methods

Determination of moisture content (Appendix B)

By gravimetric analysis, the sample is dried in a 150°C forced air oven for 4 hours and the mass loss is measured. This method is suitable for quickly determining the moisture content of PET recycled materials.

Determination of impurity content (Appendix C)

The heat treatment method is used to distinguish PVC and polyolefin impurities, and the residual impurity content is calculated by visual observation and weighing on a balance. This method is simple and efficient.


Background of standard formulation and analysis of technological evolution

The standard formulation of PET plastic recycled materials is based on the needs of circular economy and sustainable development, and aims to standardize the quality evaluation system of recycled materials. With the enhancement of environmental awareness and technological progress, the detection method has gradually developed from preliminary screening to precise quantification.


Implementation suggestions

  1. Establish a quality management system: Ensure the stability and consistency of recycled material production in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
  2. Negotiate the testing plan: The supply and demand parties should agree on the characterization characteristics in advance and determine the standard deviation range between the same batch and different batches.
  3. Record preservation: The supplier needs to keep complete records of raw material control, processing and product inspection for traceability.
