GB/T 35684-2017 Technical Requirements for Explosion Suppression Materials for Fuel Containers with Explosive Atmospheres is an important technical standard formulated by China for explosive environments of fuel containers. It aims to prevent explosions through explosion suppression materials (explosion suppression material). The standard covers the grade classification, type classification, physical performance requirements and test methods of materials.

Technical Requirements and Test Methods
The grades of explosion suppression materials are divided into untreated (grade 1) and lattice conversion coating treatment (grade 2), and the types are divided into Type I, Type II, and Type III according to the geometric structure dimensions. The physical properties and characteristic values of the materials must meet the requirements of Table 1:
