Introduction
Interpretation of the standard for dynamic wind pressure test method for external wall insulation system
1. Background and purpose of the standard
GB/T 36585-2018 "Dynamic wind pressure test method for external wall insulation system" is a standard formulated to ensure the safety and durability of external wall insulation system. With the improvement of building energy-saving requirements, the application of external wall insulation system in construction projects is becoming more and more extensive. However, in actual use, due to the influence of environmental factors such as wind pressure, the insulation system may be damaged.
This standard evaluates the wind pressure resistance performance of external wall insulation system through tests simulating dynamic wind pressure conditions, providing a scientific basis for design, construction and acceptance.
| Technical requirements dimensions | Test equipment | Specimen preparation | Result calculation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Negative pressure box requirements | Opening size> Sample size, depth sufficient to maintain constant pressure. | Sample size ≥ 2.0m × 2.5m, base wall can be concrete or brick wall. | R_d = Q_l × C_s × C_a |
| Test steps | Start from 1 kPa and increase step by step to sample failure or equipment maximum value. | A hole with a diameter of 15 mm is reserved at the joints of the insulation board to simulate air leakage. | C_s is determined by the bonding area ratio or the number of anchors, C_a = 1. |
2. Recommendations for standard implementation
Recommendations for equipment selection:Select a negative pressure box that meets the standard requirements and ensure that the opening size and depth meet the test requirements. It is recommended to use equipment with adjustable functions to accommodate different specimen sizes.
Key points for specimen preparation:Strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions, pay attention to the location of reserved air leakage holes, and ensure that the treatment of the insulation board joints meets the requirements.
Data recording and analysis:Record the test results under each level of wind pressure in detail, pay special attention to specimen damage phenomena (such as fracture, delamination, etc.), and derive the wind pressure resistance value based on the calculation formula.
