Introduction

Standard Framework and Technology Evolution

As the first part of the BeiDou Ground-Based Augmentation System (NBAS) series of specifications, this standard focuses on the interface requirements for broadcasting differential data through the mobile communication network. With the evolution of 2G/3G/4G communication technology, the standard has designed an adaptive broadcast mechanism compatible with different standards, and the typical broadcast delay needs to be ≤1 second.

Typical application scenario comparison

Surveying and mapping service: Using BDS regional differential message group (1351-1354), dual-frequency carrier phase terminal is required, positioning accuracy reaches centimeter level, bandwidth ≥15kbit/s.

In-vehicle navigation service: Using wide-area differential combined orbit clock correction message (1303/1066), single-frequency terminal can achieve meter-level positioning, and the typical broadcast cycle is 30 seconds.


Implementation Suggestions

  1. Terminal Development: Need to be compatible with communication standards such as YD/T 2575 (LTE) and YD/T 1367 (TD-SCDMA)
  2. Data Optimization: 2G networks give priority to combined orbit clock error messages (compress bandwidth by 40%)
  3. Security Mechanism: The authorization code adopts a variable length design (≥20 bytes) with Hash hash processing

Technology Evolution Direction

The standard reserves new message interfaces such as Galileo MSM7, and will support low-latency broadcasting (<100ms) and multi-frequency point fusion positioning of 5G networks in the future.
