Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, industrial CT system requirements, testing process, testing evaluation, testing records and reports for composite material industrial computer tomography (CT) testing. It is applicable to the testing of density distribution, material uniformity, and defects such as pores (voids), cracks, inclusions, delamination, folds and wrinkles of composite materials such as resin-based, ceramic-based and metal-based materials.
