4.1.3 Main switch and control panel

Equipment type	Safety requirements
Mixer	A main switch should be installed in accordance with the provisions of 5.3 of GB5226.1-2008, and an interlock switch should be equipped to ensure the safety of operators.
Drying drum	An emergency stop switch must be installed to ensure the emergency stop function in unexpected situations.

Case analysis: Safety protection of mixer

As a key equipment for concrete preparation, the safety protection of the mixer is particularly important. According to standard 4.3.1, the mixer must be able to discharge the mixture in the event of a temporary power outage or accident. In addition, the exposed parts of the transmission system should have protective covers and safety maintenance protection devices, and warning signs should be set up to remind operators to avoid stepping on dangerous areas.
