GB/T 37502—2019: In-depth interpretation of the standard for copper-nickel alloy rods for electric vacuum devices

I. Background and significance of the standard

GB/T 37502—2019 "Copper-nickel alloy rods for structural materials of electric vacuum devices" is a national standard formulated to meet the needs of the electronics industry for high-performance copper-nickel alloy rods. The standard was proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals, aiming to standardize product quality, test methods and application requirements.

According to Table 1, the brand, code, state and specifications of copper-nickel alloy bars are as follows:

III. Technical requirements and quality control

The mechanical properties requirements shall be strictly implemented in accordance with Table 2 to ensure that the mechanical properties of the bars meet the standards under different conditions.


Fourth, Test Methods and Inspection Rules

  • Chemical Composition Analysis: GB/T5121 (all parts), YS/T482 or YS/T325.
  • Dimension measurement: GB/T26303.2.
  • Mechanical properties test: GB/T228.1—2010, sample selection reference table 9.

V. Implementation suggestions and precautions

To ensure the effective implementation of the standard: 1.The supplier shall strictly inspect the product quality; 2.The buyer shall conduct acceptance according to the standard provisions, and any objection shall be raised within three months from the date of receipt of the product.
