《GB/T 39480-2020钢丝绳吊索 使用和维护》由TC183(全国钢标准化技术委员会)归口,TC183SC3(全国钢标准化技术委员会盘条及钢丝分会)执行,主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
Definition of the scope of application
This standard applies to wire rope slings for general lifting, and explicitly excludes special lifting and heavy cable lifting scenarios. According to Chapter 1 of the standard, other types of rigging can be implemented by reference but are not mandatory.
Key Technical Requirements
| Elements | GB/T39480 requirements | Industry best practices |
|---|---|---|
| Wire rope selection | Must comply with 5 referenced standards including GB/T20118 | It is recommended to increase special inspections for non-standard working conditions |
| End accessories inspection | 100% visual inspection is required before use | Magnetic particle inspection (MPI) must be implemented |
| Temperature influence | It is prohibited to use above 400℃ | For temperatures above 200℃, it is recommended to use alloy slings. |
Comparison of typical hanging methods
Chapter 4 of the standard specifies 5 hanging methods in detail:
- Slip-through knot method: single-limb load needs to be reduced by 20%, and the loop angle is ≤120°
- Double-loop slip-through method: suitable for loose loads such as tube bundles
- Basket knot method: the load can be increased to 2.1 times when two limbs are used
Maintenance management points
According to Chapter 5 of the standard, a full life cycle file must be established, including:
- Inspection records before each use
- Environmental temperature monitoring data
- Lubricant replacement cycle
Relative humidity should be maintained at ≤60% during storage, and the axle packaging should be rotated regularly.
Implementation suggestions
1. For special scenarios such as offshore operations, it is recommended to:
- Increase the frequency of monthly non-destructive testing
- Configure the proportion of spare rigging ≥20%
2. Under high temperature conditions, refer to Appendix A for Load factor correction:
When 200-300℃, the steel core sling maintains 90% of the rated load
