Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts) for electrical round aluminum rods. This standard applies to continuous casting and rolling electrical round aluminum rods for drawing electric wires, round aluminum wires for conductive cores of cables, shaped aluminum wires and other aluminum conductors for electrical purposes.
