Standard Overview

GB/T 39631-2020 specifies the terminology, technical requirements and test methods for servo motor systems for new energy vehicle air-conditioning compressors, and is applicable to the design and manufacture of permanent magnet synchronous motor systems for fully/semi-enclosed positive displacement refrigerant compressors.

Key test methods

1. Insulation performance test

Use 50Hz sinusoidal wave voltage for voltage withstand test, leakage current ≤10mA (system below 500V). The stator winding of the motor needs to withstand:

  • Below 250V: 500V/1min
  • 250-1000V: 1000V/1min

2. Cleanliness control

Requirements for impurities inside the motor:

  • Total mass ≤24mg (displacement 8-25cm³)
  • Particle diameter ≤0.25mm

The test method refers to the solvent oil flushing method in Appendix A

Design optimization direction

  1. Use permanent magnet synchronous motor to improve system efficiency to 90%+
  2. Optimize electromagnetic compatibility design to meet the radiation immunity requirements of GB/T 22068
  3. Select POE/PAG lubricants to ensure material compatibility

Production quality control

  • Establish a process for testing the moisture content of electric motors (Appendix B Karl Fischer method)
  • Implement vibration tests (50-250Hz, 30m/s² acceleration)
  • Perform regular thermal cycle verification (-35℃~85℃)
