Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

GB/T39712-2020 standardizes for the first time the technical system of marine sulphoaluminate cement for rapid construction. This material has the characteristics of 4h rapid hardening (compressive strength ≥15MPa) and high corrosion resistance (chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤0.75×10-12 m2/s), and is particularly suitable for rapid repair scenarios of marine engineering projects such as tidal areas and cross-sea bridges.

Material component innovation

The standard stipulates that sulfoaluminate cement clinker (Al2O3≥30%) and composite mineral admixtures (slag + silica fume/limestone) must be used for synergistic modification, among which:

  • Gypsum must be of Class A grade 2 or above in GB/T5483
  • Silica fume must meet the activity index requirements of GB/T27690
  • The CaO content of limestone is strictly limited to ≥46%

Engineering application cases

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge artificial island connection section uses this cement to achieve:

  1. Complete structural repair within 4 hours during the tidal window period
  2. 28d chloride ion penetration depth reduced by 40%
  3. Structural service life increased to more than 50 years

Implementation suggestions

1. Construction control points: 165-175mm mortar fluidity must be used to control the water-cement ratio, and the order of adding materials must be strictly followed according to water→sand→cement

2. Quality acceptance: It is recommended to increase the 7d seawater erosion resistance coefficient on-site sampling, and the acceptance standard is controlled according to K≥0.95

3. Storage requirements: After opening, it must be used within 48 hours to avoid moisture absorption and resulting in a decrease in early strength performance
