《GB/T 398-2008棉本色纱线》由TC209（全国纺织品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC209SC10（全国纺织品标准化技术委员会棉纺织品分会）执行，主管部门为中国纺织工业联合会。
本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ３９８―１９９３《棉本色纱线》。本标准规定了棉本色纱线的产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装。
本标准适用于鉴定环锭机制棉纱线的品质，不适用于鉴定特种用途棉纱线的品质。本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ３９８―１９９３相比主要变化如下：
―――纱的百米重量变异系数指标收严；
―――纱的条干均匀度变异系数指标收严；
―――单纱、线断裂强度指标收严；
―――单纱、线断裂强力变异系数指标收严；
―――１ｇ内棉结粒数收严；
―――１ｇ内棉结杂质总粒数收严；
―――单纱、线断裂强度分优、一、二等指标考核；
―――百米重量偏差分优、一、二等指标考核；
―――单纱一等品增加十万米纱疵考核。

Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging of natural cotton yarn (hereinafter referred to as "cotton yarn"). This standard is applicable to the identification of the quality of ring-spun machine-made cotton yarn, not applicable to the identification of the quality of cotton yarn for special purposes.
