Technical background of the standard

With the development of the functional food industry, 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ) in mulberry leaf extract, which has hypoglycemic activity, has become a key detection indicator. This standard fills the gap in domestic DNJ detection methods and adopts FMOC-Cl derivatization-HPLC coupling technology to solve the pain point of insufficient sensitivity of traditional methods.
