Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard is equivalent to the international standard IEC6070425:2014, and formulates special test requirements for the special noise characteristics of heat storage type room heaters. The main technical points include:

Key technical requirements

1. Test environment specifications

The standard clearly requires the use of a vertical reflector with a reflection coefficient of <0.06, the back of the instrument should be kept (10±1)cm from the reflective wall, and the bottom should be (25±1)cm from the ground. When testing in a reverberation chamber, the wall extension must be ≥0.5m.

2. Operating condition control

  • Pre-treatment requirements: The fan runs at the highest speed for 1 hour, and the filter needs to be cleaned
  • Test conditions: Measure the noise of the maximum heat release condition without heating, and the minimum heat release condition can be measured
  • Voltage accuracy: ±0.5% (stricter than the general standard)

Implementation points and suggestions

Typical problem solutions

Case 1: The noise of a certain brand of heat storage device at 63Hz frequency band exceeds the standard. After investigation, it was found that the room boundary effect was not handled according to the standard requirements. After adopting the 1m distance requirement recommended by this standard, the data was compliant.

Case 2: The test results have poor repeatability. It was found that the average time requirement of more than 30 seconds was not strictly implemented. After adjustment, σr reached the 0.4dB standard.

Enterprise implementation suggestions

  1. Establish special test fixtures to meet the reflector size requirements
  2. Configure A-weighted sound level meter and octave analyzer
  3. Develop automated test procedures to control preprocessing time

Standard evolution analysis

Compared with the 2008 version, this standard has the following major improvements:

  • Added short-time high-speed gear measurement requirements
  • Refine the installation tolerance of the vertical reflector
  • Supplement the explicit value verification requirements of the production deviation (σP) 0.7-1.1dB
