本标准规定了冰晶石的要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。本标准适用于由氢氟酸制得的冰晶石，其主要用于炼铝工业，也用于冶炼、焊接等工业。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cryolite. This standard applies to cryolite produced by hydrofluoric acid, which is mainly used in aluminum smelting industry, but also in smelting, welding and other industries.
