Introduction

1. Standard Overview

GB/T 44264—2024 General Technical Requirements for Photovoltaic Module Cleaning Robots specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of photovoltaic module cleaning robots, and describes the corresponding test methods. This standard applies to the manufacture, testing and use of photovoltaic module cleaning robots, aiming to ensure the safety and reliability of the products.

2. Product Classification

Category Description
Mobile Robot Can drive directly on the photovoltaic module panel, autonomously plan routes, and clean multiple photovoltaic arrays.
Permanent robot The parking position and the reversing position are fixedly installed, and are divided into direct drive and traction types according to the driving mode.

3. Technical requirements

3.1 Conditions of use

The robot should be operated on a photovoltaic array that meets the requirements of 5.3 of GB50794-2012, with an adaptable temperature range of 0°C~35°C and a wind speed not exceeding 13.8m/s.

3.2 Appearance quality

The appearance of the robot should be neat and beautiful, without defects such as scratches and burrs.

3.3 Structural requirements

  • Exposed rotating parts should have protective covers;
  • Road wheels and tracks should rotate flexibly without jamming;
  • Structural parts should have corrosion resistance not lower than the C2 environmental requirements in GB/T19292.1;
  • The cleaning coverage area of the resident robot should meet the power generation requirements of the photovoltaic modules.

3.4 Safety requirements

Key points:The robot must have short-circuit protection, electrical control box protection (IP55), drive unit protection, accident protection and anti-fall capabilities. Mobile robots must automatically identify the edge of the photovoltaic array and stop.

3.5 Performance Requirements

4. Test Methods

Test conditions include:

  • PV array length ≥10m, width ≥3.28m;

  • Mobile robots are suitable for inclinations of 5±2°, and permanent robots are suitable for inclinations of 30±2°.

5. Implementation recommendations

To ensure that the PV module cleaning robot complies with the GB/T 44264-2024 standard, it is recommended that:

  1. Strictly verify the product according to the test conditions;
  2. Pay attention to the anti-corrosion and protection performance of the structural design;
  3. Strengthen the testing and optimization of safety protection devices;
  4. Regularly maintain the equipment to ensure that the dust removal rate and failure rate meet the requirements.
