Introduction

GB/T 44680—2024 Standard Overview

This standard specifies the evaluation items, methods and assessment basis for the safety evaluation of offshore wind farms during operation, and is applicable to offshore wind farms that have been connected to the grid at full capacity.

Core evaluation dimensions

Evaluation dimensions Key items Evaluation focus
Facilities and equipment Wind turbines, offshore booster stations, submarine cables, etc. Integrity, operating status, fault conditions and potential risk sources
Labor safety and working environment Electrical work, high-altitude work, lifting work, etc. Implementation of laws and regulations, safety measures for special operations
Production management Production system, training, emergency management, etc. Compliance, completeness and implementation effect

Implementation recommendations and technology evolution analysis

1. Technology evolution analysis: In recent years, offshore wind power technology has developed rapidly, and safety evaluation standards have also been improved. From early local specifications to today's systematic evaluation system, it reflects the industry's high attention to safety.

2. Implementation recommendations:

  • Carry out safety evaluations regularly, and the first evaluation should be completed within 1 year after full capacity is connected to the grid
  • Use a sampling inspection method, with the sample size not less than 10%
  • Focus on the safety of key facilities such as submarine cables and offshore booster stations
