《GB/T 5522-2008粮油检验 粮食、油料的过氧化氢酶活动度的测定》由TC270（全国粮油标准化技术委员会）归口，TC270SC1（全国粮油标准化技术委员会原粮及制品分会）执行，主管部门为国家粮食和物资储备局。
本标准代替GB/T 5522-1985 《粮食、油料检验　过氧化氢酶活动度测定法》。
本标准规定了粮食、油料中过氧化氢酶活动度测定的术语和定义、原理、试剂和材料、仪器与用具、试样制备、操作步骤、结果计算及重复性。
本标准适用于粮食、油料中过氧化氢酶活动度的测定。
本标准与GB/T 5522-1985 相比主要变化如下：
―――增加了术语和定义；
―――修改了高锰酸钾标准溶液的浓度和过氧化氢溶液的浓度；
―――统一了反应温度和时间；
―――增加了检测结果的重复性要求。
