《GB/T 5526-2024动植物油脂 相对密度的测定》由TC270(全国粮油标准化技术委员会)归口,TC270SC2(全国粮油标准化技术委员会油料及油脂分会)执行,主管部门为国家粮食和储备局。

Introduction

1. Standard Overview

GB/T 5526-2024 "Determination of relative density of animal and vegetable oils and fats" has comprehensively revised the original GB/T 5526-1985, introduced advanced digital densitometer method and densitometry method, and replaced the traditional liquid specific gravity balance method. This standard is applicable to the relative density determination of liquid and semi-solid animal and vegetable oils and fats, providing a more accurate and efficient solution for the field of grain and oil testing.

2. Comparison of four determination methods

Method name Scope of application Accuracy requirement Operation complexity
Digital density meter method (first method) Liquid and semi-solid oils and fats Repeatability limit: 0.0003; Reproducibility limit: 0.003 High
Relative density meter method (second method) Liquid oils and fats Repeatability limit: 0.002; Reproducibility limit: 0.02 Medium
Density bottle method (third method) Liquid grease Repeatability limit: 0.001; Reproducibility limit: 0.01 Low
Density meter method (fourth method) Liquid grease Repeatability limit: 0.001; Reproducibility limit: 0.02 Low

Implementation suggestions

Recommended solution:Digital density meter method and relative density meter method are preferred because of their high accuracy and simple operation. For large-scale testing, an automatic sample injector can be equipped to improve efficiency.

Equipment selection:Select appropriate instruments according to laboratory conditions to ensure that they meet the temperature control accuracy and measurement range required by the standard.

Data recording:It is recommended to use professional software to record and analyze measurement data to ensure data accuracy and traceability.
